Natural Organization: the use of Unicist Business Objects

Unicist Business Objects are adaptive systems that are designed to produce a predefined result in a process. By definition they deal with the adaptive aspects of businesses. They are unnecessary in administrative systems.

Not everyone can design an object, but everyone who recognizes its functionality within a process can use it.

The autopilot of an airplane can be activated without knowing how it was built but it is necessary to know how it works and the limits of its functionality.

There are five unicist business objects which are: the drivers, the entropy inhibitors, the inhibitors, the catalysts and the gravitational objects.

The first three ones belong to the process of a system while the catalysts are part of the restricted context and the gravitational objects belong to the wide context of a system.

Objects can be designed integrating these three functions as part of their functionality or they can exist as three different objects to provide the driving, inhibiting and entropy inhibiting functions in a process.

Catalysts and gravitational objects are not part of the system. If one integrates them into the system, these objects do not work as such and destroy the system’s functionality.

The use of business objects requires individuals who understand the business processes in order to use the objects and replace them when their functionality has been exceeded.

Unicist Thinking: Participative vs. Observational Attitudes

There are two basic attitudes in life that are integrated in everyone’s behavior. The participative attitude in which the individual is integrated with the environment and the observational attitude where individuals are witnessing the reality they are living in.

Depending on the situation it is necessary to have one or the other attitude. Observational attitudes are part of the over-adaptive behavior of individuals and require the use of dualistic thinking processes in order to separate reality from the observer.

This approach is a problem thinking approach where reality is separated from the individual. It drives to human non-conscious over-adaptation: domination, submissiveness and opposition when it is not integrated with a solution driven approach.

Participative attitudes are necessary for the adaptive behavior of individuals. It requires unicist thinking in order to manage the conjunction of the elements of reality including the integration of observers.

This approach is solution thinking driven. It drives individuals to influence the environment while being influenced by it.

Unicist thinking cannot be managed by observers; an adaptive behavior is necessary. But it integrates both the integrative approach and the dualistic approach in order to manage the solution thinking approach with the problem thinking approach.

Wisdom is a paradigmatic result of the use of a double dialectical thinking approach and erudition is a paradigmatic case of an observational approach.

Think Green: 30% of energy savings in your business

Energy saving in business implies respecting the nature of each business. Business inventions do not exist, only discoveries are good businesses.

Green thinking implies understanding that each business is a different animal in the forest and that its identification allows developing the business according to its nature saving a large amount of energy that uses to be wasted trying to change what cannot be changed.

The Unicist Standard provides the necessary Unicist Business Objects and unicist object driven technologies to transform the concept of “Green Thinking” into action.

The Unicist Fundamentals of Mozilla

A navigator is the person on board of a ship or aircraft responsible for its navigation. The navigator is not the captain, but provides the information to the captain in order to make adequate decisions. Therefore, the navigator’s primary responsibility is to be aware of the ship or aircraft’s position at all times.

A Navigator on the Internet is an object that substitutes the individual that navigates a ship or airplane to position the user in the World Wide Web.

In business there are many activities that are homologous to navigators:

-Market Research
-Strategic Positioning
-Diagnosing
-Scenario Building
-Information Technology, etc.

In order to benchmark Mozilla’s experience we would consider that it is a way to navigate the Internet providing alternatives to the “captain” in order to use the platform as a tool to develop the activity s/he has planned.

The Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) is simpler. It provides basically a rigid navigation platform to ensure that individuals can access information. IE doesn’t pretend to be an adaptive platform. It pretends to be a simple access to the Internet. Thus it is the natural navigator for individuals who just use Internet as an access to information.

The more participative the design of the navigators, the more flexible they can work. The more flexible they are, the higher the level of the “persons” to deal with them.

Mozilla is an example that can only be benchmarked if it is experienced in real use, as well as its comparison with the Internet Explorer Concept.

This benchmark will help you design adaptive systems. The Unicist Standard allows developing flexible designs with quality assurance.
