Unicist Strategy

The unicist business strategy scorecard

The unicist scorecard is an objective strategy validation system. Its purpose is to validate the functionality of business action plans. It is integrated by a Business Marketplace Index (BMI), a Business Credibility Index (BCI) and a Business Growth Index (BGI).

The integration of these indexes defines the possibility and probability to achieve the goals proposed in a strategy.

These indexes are built on objective information. Based on their origin, the information included can be classified in:

  1. Quantitative information
  2. Quantitative perceptions
  3. Quantified opinions

The Unicist Scorecard is a complementary concept to the Balanced Scorecard. While the Balanced Scorecard is a bottom-up tool to approach the execution of strategies, the Unicist Scorecard is a top-down tool to sustain the building of strategies.

More than 4,000 ontological researches were developed since 1976 until July 2011 in the field of individual, institutional and social evolution, including the development of ontology based and business object driven solutions for businesses.

The Unicist Theory of Economic Growth

Peter Belohlavek’s research demonstrated that economic growth is produced when there is an increase of technology, scarcity, monetary circulation and competitiveness in an environment.

This growth theory is applicable to micro and macroeconomics. The Unicist standard defined the objects that are necessary to be upgraded in order to foster economic growth. The driver for growth is the increase of monetary circulation but its catalyst is competitiveness. Apprehending the concept of economic growth allows designing growth strategies.

2012, the Year of the Possible

This year The Unicist Research Institute has celebrated the 35th anniversary with the most fruitful research effort in their history having finished more than 600 researches including some of them than demanded far more than 20 years (consciousness, unified field of human adaptive systems, etc). They made 600 new aspects in the field of individual, institutional and social fields become possible.

The unicist approach is based on finding out what is possible in order to focus on it. The unicist approach deals with the “possible”, defined as a noun. It has to be considered that a possibility is a conditional situation while the “possible” is an assertive fact.

What is possible sustains success. Everything that is possible can be achieved. But this has a problem: while it provides the security of what can be done, it demands the freedom of assuming the responsibility for doing it.

The crises in the world happen because something was not “possible” but this situation was disregarded. Failures are always a consequence of someone trying to do something impossible or of something possible that was not done because people did not assume the responsibility.

That is why The Unicist Research Institute promotes:

2012, the year of the “Possible”

35th Anniversary of The Unicist Research Institute

June 1976 was the beginning of the research of evolution in the field of complexity science. It was focused on approaching the nature of reality which required an ontological approach to the basic research and an object driven approach in the field of application.

The research drove to the discovery of the ontogenetic intelligence of nature, the unicist ontology, the unicist logic, the complexity science research methodology and the human ontointelligence.

This provided the basic knowledge to develop more than 3,500 applicative researches in the field of individual, institutional and social evolution that were finished until September 2010. The research work is still ongoing.

We would like to share with you this celebration giving you access to the book on:

Unicist Ethics: The Ethics of Doers

We consider it will allow you to expand your boundaries in work and businesses.

You can access the book at: http://www.unicist.org/deb_doers.php

This anniversary is a very special one, because it follows a turning point in our global expansion that took place during the last year.

Unicist Business Objects Therapeutics for Business Problems

Unicist Business Objects Therapeutics implies the solution of a problem in an organization. But we use the word therapeutics only if the organization has a dysfunctional established characteristic that avoids achieving the goals of the institution.

The taxonomy implies that the first step to be implemented when solving a problem has to deal with the cure and not with the palliation of the problem. After the cure was started then a palliative is needed to overcome the problem in the short run.

But when the problem begins being palliated, there is no need to establish a cure because the negative operational effects have been left aside.

The paradox is that palliatives degrade the institution. The same thing happens in social crises. When social crises are solved by just using palliatives without considering the structural situation the society degrades to a lower level of ethics.

Unicist Tweetinar on Ontologies for Corporate Finances

The development of the ontological structure of businesses allowed the development of the Unicist Scorecard to monitor business strategies.

Unicist Ontological Analysis applied to performance management allows developing adaptive performance management tools to sustain business strategies.

We invite you to participate in a Unicist Tweetinar with Peter Belohlavek, on May 17 from 5:00 to 6:30 pm (New York Time) that includes the Unicist Ontological Analysis of Corporate Finances. It will be developed at http://www.twitter.com/uniciststandard
