Original solutions are extremely useful to solve original problems. But what happens when individuals need to demonstrate that they know much more than their colleagues? Heroes appear. Heroes are necessary to deal with engineering problems when they are complex. There is no doubt that Nikola Tesla was a hero. But when solving project management problems heroes are not such, they are just pseudo-heroes, because they need to do things their way to demonstrate their superiority. This can be a problem in real life.
